2nd Annual Rhode Island Halloween Costume Swap
Saturday – October 6th, 2012
2075 Nooseneck Hill Road
Coventry, RI 02816
10:00 am to 2:00 pm
How the Halloween Costume Swap Works:
Prior to the swap, swappers bring the costumes they want to exchange. They receive a ticket for each costume to use on the day of the event. Once costume(s) is selected, the participant shows the ticket and gets to take home a new to them costume.
If you have a first halloween baby or no costume to swap, you may come to the swap during the second half and pick out a costume for a small donation to the RI Foster Agency.
You are welcome to drop off more costumes than you’ll need as it’ll benefit not only new moms and children who do not have swappable costumes from previous years, but we will also be donating the remaining costumes to the RI Foster Agency at the end of the day!
The day of the event, we will open doors at 10am and you will be able to present your ticket and then find your child(ren) sizes and pick out a costume for every ticket you have available, or you may come at the end and pick from the remaining selection. There will be entertainment for the whole family throughout the event as we help make the world a greener place!
We will also be accepting donations for an amazing organization called “Good Night, Sleep Tight” – whose mission is to make each and every child placed into foster care feel special and that they are not alone by providing them with a meaningful way to keep their personal belongings safe and transport them when they move along on their journey. They hope to be able to make each child in care have a brighter day, one dream at a time, night after night. They want to ensure that the child knows they are loved and are never alone on their journey!
